Regional Background
Morogoro region is the third largest region in Tanzania's land area. To its north it borders Arusha and Tanga regions, southwards it borders Lindi and Ruvuma regions, Coast region to its east and Dodoma and Iringa to its west.

Morogoro is a diverse region of different climatic zones which allow for bi-annual harvesting of crops. The town is just on the foot of Uruguru Mountains which provide an excellent scenario. It is endowed with numerous gemstones, mica and wildlife.
