SIDO Singida in collaboration with the HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation conducted a nine days training the groups of farmers who were vegetable growers in the Mkalama district. The training participants included 14 male and 13 female. The training aimed at providing enough skills and knowledge which related to business management entrepreneurship skills whereby, it was presented to representatives of the groups.
The methods used during the sessions of the training were; Lectures, Group exercise, discussions and presentation, Brain storming and games, Questions and answers. The approaches used to help participants to have the desired and aimed understanding of the provided knowledge aimed imparted skills to them.
The training covered the following implemented subjects;
1. Business Management, Costing and Pricing.
2. Record keeping.
3. Packaging and lable.
4. Bar code.
5. Entrepreneureship skills.
6. TBS and TFDA.
7. Business and family.
8. Marketing skills.
Culvert Nkuru the TCCIA Singida Region secretary who was the guest of honor advised the participants of the training to run their business using the implemented skills and knowledges provided to them, so as they can improve their business using the provided enterpreneureship skills.
