Mgweno Processed Honey enterprise being owned as a sole proprietor business venture. It started on 2009 by Mr. Stephano Mgweno, dealing with Bee keeping activity, Honey extractation, and processing and beewax production. The enterprise is located Gairo District in Rubeho village.
The enterprise was using ordinary way of beekeeping which involved cutting out big trees for making traditional beehives. Though SIDO services, the enterprise was mentored, coached and linked to different stakeholders in honey like Lekat Company Ltd-dealing with manufacturing modern beehives.
