Doroth takwe is an entrepreneur from kigoma town in kigoma municipal dealing with food processing and hand craft items.professionally,she was a clerk at the municipal Coumcil office in kigoma before termination from her post.She has been benefiting from SIDO services for more than 8 years.she started with a loan of 200,000/= from NEDF program and engage in food processing business.Aprat from the loan, she also got training on business improvement skills, food processing skills. Soap making skills and financial management skills.
SIDO kigoma regional manager invited her to the exhibition which was done in Arusha whereby she brought some food processed product eg, sardine. She managed to make a profit of about 900,000/=,from there she started attending various business exhibitions nationwide and outside the country through distribution of sardine processed product and managed to make a big profit.
Through the profit she got from her business she managed to educate her children and her living standard has improved . she also managed to attract other entrepreneurs and has been a role model entrepreneur in SIDO Kigoma.
