Provision of Packaging services

One of the big challenge SMEs are facing today among others  is lack of reliable source  of getting varieties of packaging materials. In order to tackle this challenge, SIDO has established the packaging center at SIDO Industrial Estate in Dar Es Salaam where various packaging materials can be obtained easily. The machines are capable of producing  varieties of plastic packaging materials  of some  kinds but not all.  We know there is a need for  glass packaging materials too but  SIDO has established the way of copying with this as SIDO buy the glass packaging materials from outside the country in large quantities and distribute them to regional offices where SMEs in those regions can access them easily.
