Kigoma Tan Soap enterprises(KTSE) was registered in 2009,although operation started in 1990.This enterprise deals with Bar soap making and Soap detergents ,(toilet, herbal and liquid soap)Its business premise is at SIDO Industrial estate within Kigoma municipality.
Mr.Tanu kahambi who is the owner of the enterprise attended Soap training conducted by SIDO kigoma in 2007.
After training he established his small scale soap making business in 2009. Mr,Kahambi was provided by SIDO an area where he started doing Soap making. In 2010 SIDO gave him a loan of 2,000,000/= which helped to expand his business as well as increasing production. As the business grew up SIDO kigoma started inviting him to attend business exhibitions organized by SIDO and other stakeholders. The exhibitions helped him to gain more experience by exchanging ideas with different entrepreneurs from various areas within and outside the country. Through those exhibions, he got more experience and was able to produce products of high quality
