Umoja wa Wajasiriamali Butimba is A group addressed at BUTIMBA CORNER way accross to Butimba college, it is an association of NEDF beneficiaries in MWANZA Region, its a jointly membered with almost 41 participants and 18 members active in Leather products and 23 members active in poultry and commercial items like home matters and school stationaries.
The group was originally informal before we SIDO officers unifications,under groups unification programme we identified the group and associate under one area where registered in 2015 and got certificate of community based organisations(CBO's) and currently have got TIN and Business Lisence.
The group was guaranted with 5 million loans from NEDF as an additional capital from SIDO MWANZA which was disbursed on 08.04.2016 of approval. we have trained them with savings and credits skills up to now have just education on HISA commonly they do,on side of management and policy security within members on matters patterning funds and banks withdrawal the group has three permanent signatories and treasury monitoring commitee which secure its books and running petty cash books.
