SIDO and Norwegian church aid-Tanzania entered an agreement to empower VICOBA women groups on Business Management at Singida municipal .
The training lasted for two days from june 06-07,2016. A total of 35 participants attended the class and were women. Training was officially closed by Augustina W. Mosha project manager Norwegian Church Aid- Tanzania ,She advised participant to use skills receved to improve the way they doing business so that business can grow and acquire bid loan from financial institutions instead of depending getting money from VICOBA where loan are of small amount.
The skills imparted to the participants will improve entrepreneurships skills and conducting business in a commercial way and finally improve ther income and standard of living.
TRAINING METHODOLOGY:
The participatory approach used during the training session. Lectures, group exercise and presentation, group discussion, brain storming,games and answers were used during the training session.Tese methods were used to enable participants to have fully understanding of knowledge and skills imparted to them.
THE TRAINING PROGRAM (SUBJECTS COVERED)
Uner training programme the subject covered and implemented are as follows:-
- ENTREPRENEURSHIP SKILLS.
- Participants were able to understand deeply the conceptes of entrepreneurship and an entrepreneur.
- Entreepreneurship competencies/characteristics.
2. RECORD KEEPING:
- Participants learned the meaning and importance of keeping record in business
- Participants were imparted with skill and knowledge on business record keeping ( simple way of using primary books of accounts)
- Partcipants did exercises of recording data to primary book of accounts such as ca book, sales day book, purchase book etc.
COSTING AND PRICING
- Participants acquired skill and knowledge on costing and price calculations basing on conditions to be considered in both calculations.
- Exercises on how to calculate costs and pricing using ther upcoming business.

- Meaning of business and family,
- The different between business and family.
- The relationship that existed between family and business.
- The uses of business money.
- The uses of family money.
