SIDO Singida in collaboration of HELVETAS Swiss Inter cooparation-EU KUWAKI project and supported horticulture development in three districts of Singida Region focused on vegetable grower farmers groups. Each part plays a big role on the supporting the chain development, while SIDO concentrated on capacity building in areas of providing skills on value addition, business, marketing skills and business plan, HELVETAS provide financial support to other parts of the chain development.

SIDO Singida and Singida District local Governmement are collaborating in establishment of  Mtinko Sunflower cluster. Cluster will help will help to build sunflower value chain at mtinko area where farmers, processors and  traders will benefit from these cluster. BIMA Supplies and Services provider is a company also given task to support the cluster areas. BIMA in collaboration with SIDO conducted two days training on business up grading to farmers and processors who are members of mtinko Sunflower cluster.

SIDO and Norwegian church aid-Tanzania entered an agreement to empower VICOBA  women groups on  Business  Management at Singida municipal .

SIDO Singida and Helvetas Swiss Intercooperation in collaboration with KUWAKI Group organised a training program on Tomato processing, Business Management and Marketing to Vegetable growers of Singida Urban and Rural, Mkalama,Iramba and Ikungi Districts.The participants were 5 male and 10 female with a total of 15 participants.The objectives of the training was to provide knowledge and skills related to business plan presentation to the representatives of the groups. Later after traning they used a sample business plan from their facilitators as guidance in operation of their business.

SIDO Singida in colaboration with WFP - Tanzania in P4P project  conducted  three days training on business plan preparation to women of Iramba District. The participants were 15  from Muhangu Iramba District the training venue were Roman Catholic Traing Center Singida . The objectives of the training were to provide enough knowledge and skills on business plan preparation and at the end of the training participants to manage to prepare their own simple business plan.

SIDO Singida incooperation with WFP Tanzania conducted a three days training with the women of Dodoma at Kondoa District. The participants of the training were 21 women from Mkombozi Mrijo, Mkombozi soko kuu and Kwamtoro took place at Florida Hotel.The objectives of the training was to provide knowledge and skills on business plan preparation and at the end their own business plan for their identified project facilitated by WFP.

SIDO Singida organised  two days training on Financial Management  and Loan management at Singida Munispal.The training involved  20 participants 8 male and 12 female from Singida Municipal, Makala and Iramba, the participants were different sectors such as sunflower oil production, flour production, textile and trade.The objectives was to impart knowledge and skills on the business record keeping and SIDO loan regulation to enable them to manage their business also be able to access  SIDO financial service.

SIDO Singida with four women organised a 10 days training on the use of computer this is to enable the with the use of internet so as they can comunicate ther business. The participants of the training were four women.the main objective was to train the participants in the use of internet thus imparting to them knowledge and skills on computer and internet usage so as to help them communicate ther business through internet and conduct their business in a profesional manner.

SIDO Singida in collaboration with the Eastern and Southern Africa Universities Research Programme (ESAURP) conducted a five days training to SMEs of Singida region. the attended participants of the training  were 29 male and 59 female. The objectives of the training is to make the participants able to formalize their business, theirfore they were trained on the entrepreneureship and business management skills.
