SIDO Singida and Helvetas Swiss Intercooperation in collaboration with KUWAKI Group organised a training program on Tomato processing, Business Management and Marketing to Vegetable growers of Singida Urban and Rural, Mkalama,Iramba and Ikungi Districts.The participants were 5 male and 10 female with a total of 15 participants.The objectives of the training was to provide knowledge and skills related to business plan presentation to the representatives of the groups. Later after traning they used a sample business plan from their facilitators as guidance in operation of their business.
The methods used in the training was; Lectures, Group exercise, discusions and aslo question with answers. The facilitators were able to answer the question and the members got respective answers from them.
The training involve the following content to write on the business plan;
1.Executive summery.
2.Information on business.
3.Information on company/group.
4.Industry overview.
5.Issues of technology.
6.Issues of Marketing.
7.Issues on management.
8.Issues of financial.
The trainers benefited because they felt that the training addressed the important areas that they had not known before and promised to develop their business plan for their business.
