SIDO Singida in colaboration with WFP - Tanzania in P4P project conducted three days training on business plan preparation to women of Iramba District. The participants were 15 from Muhangu Iramba District the training venue were Roman Catholic Traing Center Singida . The objectives of the training were to provide enough knowledge and skills on business plan preparation and at the end of the training participants to manage to prepare their own simple business plan.
The participatory approach used during the training session were lectures, group exersice and presntation, questions and answer. This methods were used to enable participants to have fully understanding of knowledge and skills imparted to them also trainers insisted on doing business in a professional manners so that their business grow and make good profit.
The subjects covered during the training programme were;
1. Introduction to busioness plan
2. Production plan
3. Marketing plan
4. Financial plan
5.Preparation of simple business plan
During the closing ceremony Represenatative of Singida Munispal Director thanked SIDO and WFP for suppoting many livehood projects.He urged that this training will help women to genarate more income and emplyoment opportunities hence reduce number of people especially young women migrating to urban areas looking for job. he argued participants to use the knowledge received to implement the project because the sustainability and success of their projects lays in their hands. Lastly he promised to work closely with women groups and also provide support whenever needed.
