The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania in collaboration with the International Fund for Agriculture Development (IFAD) and the African Development Bank (AfDB) is implementing the Marketing Infrastructure, Value Addition and Rural Finance Support Programme (MIVARF) in different areas including Chato District, in Geita region.
MIVARF broad Objective is to organize smallholder producers into economic groups that can facilitate its members to pool their financial resources together, to acquire new technologies and skills for improving the quality and quantity of their produce and access output markets sustainably.
