The Project on Enterprise Creation through capacity building of Women and Youth in Agro-Processing between SIDO and UNDP

SIDO signed agreement with United Nations Development program (UNDP) through the project titled Enterprise Creation through Capacity Building of women and Youth in agro processing. 

 

So far the project has facilitated  Training Needs assessment in four districts of Manyoni, Ikungi, Iramba and Singida Rural in Singida region; exposed SMEs to market their products through participation in Dar es Salaam International Trade Fair; to ensure SMEs are competitive in the market; and linked them with Food Regulatory Authority i.e. TFDA and BARCODE provider i.e. GS1 –Tanzania.
